Wireless... turn this feature off on the router while you're configuring the
laptop (joining it to the domain and setting it up). Once up and running,
re-enable the wireless on the router, unplug the Ethernet cable to the
laptop, reboot the laptop and see if you can get an IP address from the SBS
server for the wireless NIC. MAKE SURE you lock down the wireless setup in
the router or you may have any number of unwanted guests (hackers,
passerbys) accessing your internal LAN. This type of setup (wireless on the
internal LAN) can be very insecure.

Sorry, but what is CEICW?

Also, the workstation is a laptop and I want to be able to use it on the
network wirelessly when I'm not docked. How can I do this if I turn off
the
wireless?

Thanks for your help

DNS for the workstation(s) should point to the SBS server IP address
(192.168.1.103). Also, you may experience less problems if you turn off
DHCP Server Service on the router and let the SBS server handle DHCP for
your LAN. After turning off DHCP on the router, re-run CEICW, input your
ISP's DNS nameservers IPs as "forwarders" on the appropriate screen,
select
Enable Firewall, select the services you want, then finish CEICW. Then
reboot the workstations to get an IP address from the SBS server.

Also, if the router has wireless capabilities, disable any wireless
adapters
on the workstation(s) or turn this feature off on the router..

I can't connect any computers to the network. I have added the
computer
via
the server and when I open a browser on that computer and go to
http://sbs2003/connectcomputer I get an error saying "Make sure that
only
one
network adapter is enabled and that it is connected to the small
business
server."

If I re-run setup, it tells me that "This computer has only one
network
adapter."
The computer has one network card and I have an external wireless
router
where the source ethernet connection is plugged into. I think that
may
have
something to do with it. Also, I had a problem, where after the
initial
installation, I couldn't get to the external internet, only the SBS
intranet,
from any computers connected to my router. I reset the router and
was
able
to get to the internet, so that may have something to do with it
also.

Thanks in advance for any help
